Prijava Dodaj novico Tekst novice Prijava Uporabnik: Geslo:		SiMUN UN-plugged: In Tune With International Community The first and second Model United Nations - MUN event in Slovenia were an absolute success. Therefore, we are excited to present third SiMUN that will take place in Ljubljana from 14th to 19th September 2010. This event will give the students from all over the world a chance to get to know and experience the work of the UN Security Council and UN General Assembly, get to know the country they represent and get more familiar with interesting and important topics concerning The situation in Congo, Global poverty - Extreme poverty reduction and New global environmental arrangement: a battle for Green Earth. Through role-playing, the simulation will enable the participants to obtain a multilateral view on world affairs, enhance their conflict resolution capabilities and develop their effective communication skills. Emphasis will also be placed on the informal part through teambuilding exercises, workshops and of course the unique opportunity to get to know and discuss with young people from different cultural backgrounds.
